Background Information :

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for 1 Year Fortigate 8x5 Service Agreement (Specification Attached). We received bids from two (2) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows:

CDW – $12,517.26

Central Technology – $13,335.00

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the lowest bid that meets all the specifications from CDW. With this approval, it is the intent of the Board and management that no liability will be incurred, nor a purchase order issued, until the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017.
